Comfort - loading height with refrigerated body and integrated loading ramp thanks to low chassis

With the introduction of the Coolly® and especially the Runner® series, Kiesling Fahrzeugbau GmbH set a new trend that combines the advantages of refrigerated box trucks and refrigerated box bodies:
Thanks to specially designed chassis, the vehicle's cargo space is lowered by up to 30 cm, creating a comfortable loading height. Despite the wheel boxes, the advantage of a perfect fit for Euro boxes is given, thanks to a wheel box system for which Kiesling has applied for a patent.

The new solution has now become a trend, because with a low height the customer receives several advantages at once:
  • Better driving characteristics thanks to improved roadholding
  • Lower fuel consumption thanks to lower
  • Overall height More convenient loading due to the low loading edge

Based on a Fiat Ducato powerhead, for example, Kiesling offers the Runner series with an Al-Ko low-frame chassis, which lowers the body by almost 30 cm. The Runner® from Kiesling is characterized by the advantages already mentioned. The low entrance to the cargo area is ergonomically favorable for the driver and helps him to save energy at the often numerous unloading stations. Fuel consumption on highway and intercity trips is gratifyingly low, thanks to a smaller air contact area.

To place the body low on the chassis, wheel housings have to be cut out in the cargo area. These are positioned in such a way that they can be optimally integrated into a Eurocrate loading scheme. With the Easy Load System® , the wheel housings are simply built over if required, allowing Euro crates to be easily stacked above the wheel housings.

As an additional advantage, the Runner offers an integrated loading ramp that can be pulled out if required, thus enabling easy unloading of roll containers. There is no need to purchase a tail lift. The ramp is inserted under the body during the journey and can thus be easily carried along. At the destination, it is pulled out and put on; roll containers or boxes on roll carts and hand trucks can be unloaded easily. The supply of stores with roll containers can thus be implemented easily, quickly and without the high acquisition costs for a tail lift.

The Runner® series is available in three different sizes and up to a loading volume of 11 roll containers or 210 E2 - boxes.

All bodies are suitable for deep-freeze transport up to -18°C, tested by TÜV according to the rules of HACCP and equipped with high-quality details as standard:
  • Aluminum bottom tray, stable and absolutely liquid-tight
  • Smooth-running door handles for one-hand operation on both sides
  • LED interior lights
  • Magnetic door holder Easy Lock®

Chassis manufacturers offer corresponding chassis for which Kiesling implements the trend of "lowered" refrigerated vehicles in various sizes.
