We love the sun - green electricity from our own PV systems

The company consistently relies on more environmentally friendly solutions, reduces the energy required for production, avoids waste and uses green electricity,
Kiesling uses only electricity from renewable sources for the production of its 1400 refrigerated bodies and vehicles per year. All hall roofs are equipped with PV systems (totaling over 500 KWp), which not only supply the company, but also the region.
Over the year, Kiesling Kühlfahrzeuge produces more electricity than is consumed in production.
A large part of the electricity required comes directly from the company's own PV system. On sunny days, the company is thus completely independent in terms of electricity supply; the operation of all systems and machines is then carried out directly with the company's own photovoltaic electricity. By the way: even with purchased electricity, we naturally pay attention to the origin!

Sustainable - durable - recyclable at the end of use

High-quality materials are used in the production of refrigerated bodies and reefer boxes by Kiesling to guarantee a long service life and durability. The insulation has been proven to remain constant for many years.

The durable refrigerated vehicles by Kiesling reduce the total cost of ownership and at the same time protect the environment. After accidents or at the end of a long period of use, most cooling units then have to be disposed of thermally.
Kiesling metal top layer panels can be recycled, because
- the materials are to be separated cleanly from each other
- the separated materials can thus be recycled

Internal recycling cycle

After separating the materials, metal, wood and aluminium are recycled.
The foam is pressed according to a special process and then flows back into our production of new refrigerated bodies, where recycled material partly replaces wood.

Winner of the Trailer Innovation Award

The reusability, recyclability and valueability of Kiesling refrigerated bodies were tested and confirmed by TÜV Süd.
The possible quotas for Kiesling refrigerated bodies and reefer boxes calculated on the basis of Annex I of Directive 2005/64 EC (type approval for motor vehicles with regard to their reusability, recyclability and recoverability) are as follows:

Recycling quota: R cyc ≥ 85%
Recycling rate: R cov ≥ 95%

For this sustainable and environmentally friendly development, the company received the Trailer Innovation Award 2011, category Environment.
