We love the sun - green electricity from our own PV systems

The company consistently relies on more environmentally friendly solutions, reduces the energy required for production, avoids waste and uses green electricity,
Kiesling uses only electricity from renewable sources for the production of its 1400 refrigerated bodies and vehicles per year. All hall roofs are equipped with PV systems (totaling over 500 KWp), which not only supply the company, but also the region.
Over the year, Kiesling Kühlfahrzeuge produces more electricity than is consumed in production.
A large part of the electricity required comes directly from the company's own PV system. On sunny days, the company is thus completely independent in terms of electricity supply; the operation of all systems and machines is then carried out directly with the company's own photovoltaic electricity. By the way: even with purchased electricity, we naturally pay attention to the origin!

Clean and quiet delivery of goods with an electrified cooling unit

Clean, quiet, efficient: electrified cooling units

New solutions are needed to reduce noise and pollutant emissions in cooling distribution systems.
Together with our partner AddVolt we equip new and used vehicles, vans or trucks in such a way that conventional cooling units can be operated permanently, i.e. even while driving, via the electric mode.
The systems presented here are independent of the vehicle and the cooling unit. They can be retrofitted as plug-in solutions and provide full performance, even for the transport of frozen goods.
 


Drive and stationary cooling via electric mode - The advantages:

- clean and quiet in the city centre, the electrical operation reduces the noise by approx. 6.5 dB
  24/7 access to the city centre
- Electric operation is permitted everywhere, even on ferries and in underground garages
- no noisy diesel engine during delivery and during driver rest periods
- Energy/fuel costs are reduced
- Optional recuperation makes operation even more economical on overland tours.

Electrified diesel refrigerating machine for trucks

The AddVolt system consists of a separate unit with a powerful power pack and controller.  Assembly and connection to existing vehicles as well as to new vehicles are possible. The Powerpack is fully charged via a power cable within one hour, allowing electrical operation for about 2-3 hours. During the journey, braking energy is recuperated via a 40 KW generator and fed into the Powerpack.

For power take-off units in the van class:
Full power independent of engine and speed

Cooling machines which are not operated by their own diesel engine but by a power take-off of the vehicle require high speeds for the required full cooling power. Cooling units can reach their limits here, depending on the area of application, kilometres driven, distance travelled and outside temperature.

Cooling mode via the electric mode of the cooling unit ensures constant cooling performance.
The energy for this comes from the AddVolt Powerpack, which is fed from the mains overnight or while the vehicle is stationary.

As a plug-in solution, the system is completely independent of the vehicle engine and thus also independent of the start-stop systems of the vehicle engines. Virtually any cooling unit can be operated.
The power pack of the vehicle in the picture is housed in the vehicle frame.

The clear login area for all users enables GPS tracking of equipped vehicles and precise monitoring of tours and refrigerator data:
